Another Personal Project! YAY!

Water and electricity are typically something that don't mix well together... like ever. So, safety was my main priority while planning this beauty shoot with the gorgeous Alexandria ! After discussing my shooting plan with a few different teachers (all whom looked at me with a little bt of slight horror and fear at the concept - but I assured them it wasn't anything too major!). The concept was to splash/pour water on a fresh faced model, with little to no makeup. Essentially as pure as you can get, and preform a beauty retouch like what you would see in a magazine publication. This type of retouching can take a few hours per image! Its a long process, but one of my favourites to sit down and really get into :)

I came to the schools armed with a tarp, black garbage bags, and towels! And one other thing, the greatest assistant ever - my mom! Whenever I am in a pinch she never fails to help out! This time, I was having a hard time finding someone to spare an hour or two to pour water over my models head (such a strange thing I know); so she came into the studio on a Friday afternoon to help me out!

The studio was filled with tons of laughs and good times and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out!
