Vancouver Wedding Photographer

Weddings are such an amazing time in peoples lives. Not only are two humans solidifying the bond they share together; but promising each other to spend the rest of their lives together! If that isn't huge I don't know what is!

It's one of my biggest dreams to photograph a couples big day - and what better way than to prepare with a styled wedding. (Besides my upcoming practicum with the super talented wedding photographers -Isle and Oak photography based here in Vancouver!!! So excited!!!) Organized and put on by my class at Langara, the Professional Photography Program congregated in Gastown on a rainy afternoon for an amazing shoot filled with some amazing collaborators!

We focused in on couples posing, and some key detail shots that every wedding album needs! We learned some helpful tips and tricks and things to keep in mind while shooting these couples!

While everyone shot away and clamoured over each other for the best shots, I stood back with my amazing co-coordinator Birgit and made sure that everything ran smoothly. From dress changes, time and space management, to keeping everyone hydrated in a small and crowded space! It was hectic all around!

Despite the craziness of the day and all of the prep that went into it - I was able to find a bit of time near the end of the shoot to capture some shots and get a little bit of impromptu couples posing coaching session with my good friend Tina! I was able to turn out this set of images - which I absolutely adore and am so thankful that I was able to make the time!
