When my boyfriend said he wanted to take an impromptu trip up to Squamish for the weekend - I didn't realize he meant within the hour of suggesting it! With no time to pack I grabbed the essentials- a change of clothes, bathing suit, sunscreen - and most importantly (even he reminded me saying it would be a shame to forget it) my trusty camera <3

After taking the Sea to Sky highway in Vancouver up to Squamish and seeing the beautiful views, we then travelled over an hour on a dirt road - where we would eventually find the place where we could set up camp (in the pitch black... but hey- memories!) We spent the next two days camped next to the rushing river - having a few drinks, BBQ-ing wayyyyy too many burgers and steaks (but I'm not guilty they were so delicious), and just hanging out with some friends.
